Plot (lel)

After the witch put a curse on you, everything went black... the next thing you remember is being on a creaking Trapdoor, only holding a shotgun.

Soon you find her other victims turned into mindless butchers trying to kill you and some stray boxes.

Gameplay:

W/A/S/D : Movement;

Mouse: Aim/Turning around

Mouse1: Fire

  • You need to release fire in order to reload
  • You can shoot the crates to generate shrapnel which damage enemies
  • You may find Powerups dropped by crates/enemies

Powerups:

  • Red heart: gives 20 health
  • Purple lightning: reduces weapon cooldown by a lot
  • Yellow arrow: massive Speed bonus

Install instructions

Linux:

You will probably have to run "chmod +x Carnage.x86_64" in terminal to make the game executable. (Or right click on Carnage.x86_64 -> permissions or something -> tick executable)

MacOS fix (thanks to Cal):

If you are getting “You do not have permission to open the application” error:

Right click the MacOS download, press "Show package contents", drag the "Contents/MacOS/Deeper into Carnage" into terminal and execute following command:

“chmod +x /Users/X/Downloads/MacOS.app/Contents/MacOS/Deeper\ into\ Carnage”

Now the game should run.
